Plitvice Lakes National Park was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979.
According to the IUCN, which defines eight categories of protection of natural areas, the Plitvice lakes belong to the second category - the national park, which means a protected area under the administration, mainly for ecosystem protection and recreation.
You can hike through the park, hike, bike, and scenic boat ride and train.
For visit a park, you must buy a ticket. A ticket is a contribution for permanent protection and regulation of the National Park. Valid for one day, and if you decide to stay longer in one of the hotels, you can extend the ticket at the hotel you are staying. Ticket price includes the use of electricity - a ship on Lake Kozjak and shuttle bus to the selected program visit, visitor's insurance and value added tax. Brijuni National Park is located in the Istrian coast near the town of Pula. Islands are a group of 14 islets 7.4 km2 area and often CALLED PARADISE ON ERTH. The best way to see Brijune is in organized tours. The trip starts in Fažana where you go to the ship and continue to Island Brijuni. On the island, you will continue whit tourist train.

Amphitheatre in Pula
Pula is most famous for its building build in 1. Century called Arena. Arena was builded at the same time as the Colosseum in Rome. The amphitheatre was the arena where gladiators’ fought. In the middle Ages, in the arena were knightly tournaments. Today in Amphitheatre are organized the cultural event in Croatia. In the space of the Arena over the summer are taken place the film festivals, Opera Season, Equestrian Festival, concerts ... that can seat about 5,000 spectators. The underground passages, was previously used by the gladiators, now there are the permanent exhibition "Olive oil and wine in ancient Istria" include reconstructions of machines for the production of oil and wine (mills, presses, containers for settling), there are amphoras that was used for storing transportation of oil and wine.
National Park Kornati
In the middle part of Dalmatia, west from Šibenik there are a group of islands called Kornati. Protected Area of the park is 220 km2 and has 89 islands, islets and Hird. Kornati are abundant natural and cultural features. There are vertical cliffs of the "crown" of the Kornati islands facing the open sea, the most popular phenomenon of this park. They are habitats for rare species. Kornati underwater world is a phenomenon for every diver.

Krka National Park is also located in central Dalmatia, near the town of Sibenik. The main role of the park has a stream of the river Krka. It is famous for its seven waterfalls and beauty is a krški phenomenon that is best visited in the spring and summer. You can freshen up in the bust, and refreshing water.
